Periscope, while relatively new, is an excellent learning technology that allows students to tutor, share, collaborate, and narrate events in real time from the convenience of their video camera. It is as if they are using a "teleportation window" that is available to their followers. One disadvantage of Periscope broadcasts is that, while "saveabe," they are not of presentation quality. Also, Periscopes must be broadcast from a mobile device, although free apps are available for IOS and Android.  While still in its infancy, Periscope is growing by leaps and bounds as celebrities and normal users discover the power of having a teleportation video window linked to your Twitter account.
