One major project for 10th grade CTE students is a technology mediated group presenation. This presentation asks students to work in pairs to research internet multimedia sources and use an online presentation medium to deliver a speech about a person or group of people who inspire others to live a better and more courageous life. The group travels to different venues (classrooms) to deliver their speech. Because multiple standards and content areas are involved, teacher(s) must use class time to work closely with students on technology, writing, speaking, etc. As such, a flipped classroom module is ideal for this unit.
